Cameron Short, CIMA®

Managing Director/Investments

My practice started twenty years ago based on the goal of replicating how the top-performing endowments, foundations, and institutional money managers developed portfolios designed to consistently and significantly outperform the market indices.  It became obvious that institutional managers have two big advantages over even the most sophisticated investors.  The institutions may have access to lower overall fee structures and top-tier money managers.  The result: institutional portfolios typically outperform individual portfolios.

I have combined what I believe to be the best practices of the institutional investing world with those used by the most sophisticated investors.  I create unique strategies for each client tailored to their specific risk tolerance, needs, and goals.  What makes me different is that I do it with transparency, independence, and focus on what is best for my clients.
